The Park “La Izvor” on June 8 will host the Chisinau Sports Festival 2024. The visitors will be able to meet Vladislav Ursu and Alisa Glinka, athletes who will represent Moldova at the 2024 Paris Olympic Games, IPN reports.
Vladislav Ursu is the first Moldovan table tennis player who qualified for the Olympic Games. With remarkable dedication and hard work, Vladislav managed to distinguish himself on the international arena, winning numerous competitions and medals. His intense training and passion for this sport propelled him into the elite of world table tennis. He is a living example of perseverance and determination, inspiring young athletes in Moldova to follow their dreams and strive for excellence, said the General Division of Education, Youth and Sports, which organizes the Festival together with the Chisinau City Hall.
The other athlete, Alisa Glinka, brings the grace and discipline necessary to excel in horseback riding. She won multiple international competitions, demonstrating her talent and dedication to the sport. Through her constant work and determination, Alisa Glinka has become a model of elegance and professionalism for all young riders, inspiring them to follow their dreams with confidence.
The Festival’s program will start at 11.00 a.m. and will include masterclasses, demonstrations and discussions with professional athletes and students of sports schools. Recreational activities and a fair with local products will also be staged. The festival will end with a recital by the band “Zdob si Zdub”.
