Chisinau, Moldova – Visa is excited to announce the launch of a series of three educational webinars for women entrepreneurs in Moldova looking to expand their businesses and export services to neighboring markets. The first webinar will take place online on November 8 and will cover essential aspects of digital commerce, including setup, optimization, and customer loyalty strategies for marketplaces. This initiative is part of the "She's Next Women Accelerator" program, supported by Visa in partnership with EFSE and maib, aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs in managing, financing, and growing their businesses.

In 2023, the e-commerce market in Moldova has grown faster than offline retail. The number of people shopping online has reached 2.64 billion and continues to rise, with even higher projections for the coming years. In this context, online stores must adapt quickly, provide quality customer service, and diversify sales channels. More entrepreneurs are choosing to launch on marketplaces, even if they already have their own online stores.

Webinar Topic: How to Launch on a Marketplace: Essential Strategies for Success in Digital Commerce;
Speaker: Valeria Rusu, Project Manager at smart.md;
Date: November 8, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM;

The second edition of the "She's Next" Women Accelerator program, implemented by XY Partners, runs from September to December this year and focuses on women-led businesses aiming for regional and global expansion. The program offers individual mentoring for 21 women entrepreneurs to scale their businesses and increase revenue.
