The citizens of Moldova can travel visa-free to Indonesia for short periods, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration has said. Thus, those who possess ordinary passports can travel to Indonesia without visas for at most 30 days for tourist purposes, to take part in cultural events and international exhibitions or to visit someone, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry, to benefit from a visa-free regime the Moldovans must enter Indonesia through particular border crossing points. These are: the international airports Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta, Juanda Surabaya, I Gusti Ngurah Rai Bali, Kualanamu Medan and Hang Nadim Batam; the maritime ports Batam Center Batam, Sri Bintan Pura Tanjung Pinang, Sekupang Batam, and Tanjung Uban, etc.

Before traveling to the Republic of Indonesia, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova are urged to make sure that their passports are valid for at least six months of the entry into the foreign state and to purchase a return ticket or a ticket to travel to another state.
