The Liberal Democratic Party’s candidate for premiership Valeriu Strelet is obliged to discuss both with the alliance partners and with representatives civil society so as to be able to cope with the challenges, said experts invited to the talk show “Fabrika” on Publika TV channel, IPN reports.

Dumitru Budeanschi, program director at the NGO “Expert-Grup”, welcomed Strelet’s initiative to meet with representatives of civil society. “It is a signal that the barriers between the Government and civil society could be eliminated. We want to see what proposals he will make to us. The future Premier’s tasks are to identify and liquidate first of all the sources of instability. The first factor that causes social instability is the rise in the tariffs of energy resources. The second factor, which generates financial instability, is the blocking of the relations with the foreign donors,” he stated.

Former Constitutional Court judge Nicolae Osmochescu considers the discussions held by Valeriu Strelet before being voted in will help him formulate the plan of action. “A government must establish the priorities, must assess the situation and must work out strategies. The future government will have to clarify the stealing of money from the banking system as this issue generates problems and could yet generate protests,” he stated.

Media analyst Cristian Tabara said Valeriu Strelet should consult as many people as possible. “Strelet does what he has to and discusses with everyone. I call on the people to support Strelet. In the current situation, no candidate for Prime Minister should be envied. He candidate must be actually supported,” he stated.
