A delegation of the Moldova State University (USM) led by Rector Igor Sharov participated in the events dedicated to the 77th anniversary of the “Dunărea de Jos” University of Galati in Romania, IPN reports.
Igor Shrov congratulated the academic community in Galati, expressing his appreciation for the excellence of the institution. He had a meeting with the rector of the "Dunărea de Jos" University Marian Barbu with whom he discussed new opportunities for cooperation between the two institutions.
The representatives of the Moldova State University attended a debate entitled "The Romanian space 107 years after the Great Union of 1918. Memory. Challenges and Opportunities". During the event, there were launched two academic works signed by Moldovan professors, namely: "Bessarabia in Russian historiography (1812 - 1862)", by Igor Sharov, and "Bessarabia. Romanian Endurance through History and Language", by Ion Eremia.
