The UNION Political Movement demands to annul the voting results at the polling stations established for the Transnistrian voters because the voting there was rigged. A challenge to this effect was submitted to the Central Election Commission on November 1, IPN reports.

The challenge says the voters to the polling stations in Varnița village of Anenii Noi district and in Calfa village of the same district were brought in an organized way, by the same vehicle, starting with 8am, causing crowdedness at the polls.

“This way, the elections were rigged with the involvement of the illegal regime of Tiraspol, with the support and coordination of the intelligence services, FSB, SVR and others, of Russia, in favor of electoral contender Igor Dodon. We repeatedly warned about this fact during the election campaign, filing challenges and lawsuits,” says the challenge.

According to the authors of the challenge, the voters were reportedly paid 500 to 700 lei or Transnistrian rubles for a vote. In the election campaign, the candidates for President could not go to the Transnistrian region as they were stopped by soldiers of the Russian Federation. Owing to the pandemic, the inhabitants from the left side of the Nistru also could not travel to the right side. However, the illegal regime of Tiraspol allowed these to leave the region to vote on the election day.
