The UNION Political Movement that was founded by five parties announced the launch of the permanent event “Free Microphone” and invites the citizens to come to the monument to Ruler Stephan the Great and Holy in central Chisinau each Friday, starting at 12 noon, IPN reports.
The Liberal Party’s leader Dorin Chirtoacă said the event is designed to awaken the national conscience so that the Republic of Moldova returns to normality. Moldovan society has to cover a last stage now – the removal of Dodon in the same way as Plahotniuc was removed. “They are the product of one and the same system: of corruption and of oligarchic clans,” stated the politician.
The leader of the Party “Democracy at Home” Vasile Costiuc said the people should know that if Igor Dodon is removed, Russia will employ other stratagems and the ‘scourge’ that works to the detriment of our nation should be thus rooted out.
Save Bessarabia Union chairman Valeriu Munteanu said that Igor Dodon does not represent the people of the Republic of Moldova, is not the emanation of this land and humbly serves the Russian Federation and personally Vladimir Putin. After Igor Dodon got rid of the former Democratic leader Vladimir Plahotniuc, all Moldova’s official positions are similar to Russia’s.
Contacted by IPN, Carmena Lupei, senior consultant of the Protocol and Communication Section of the Presidential Office, said the presidential institution does not comment on the ordinary actions and statements of political parties in an electoral year.
