Tourist offers for the Ukrainian seaside and for the Subcarpathian region are available at the international specialized exhibition “Tourism. Leisure. Hotels” at “Moldexpo”.  The travel agencies provide both brochures about the provided services and samples of curative natural water, IPN reports.

Adviser on economic matters at the Embassy of Ukraine in Chisinau Valery Kolomiiet has told IPN that a record number of Ukrainian companies are now present at the exhibition. “The number of tour operators that are ready to work with Moldovan tourists is increasing and the presence of Ukrainian companies at “Tourism. Leisure. Hotels” is now the greatest,” he stated.

According to Valery Kolomiiet, the Ukrainian travel agencies provide mountain and equestrian tourism and curative water services. “The Ukrainian tourism industry is represented at “Moldexpo” by the sanatoriums of Odessa region, which traditionally enjoy popularity among the Moldovan tourists, and of the Subcarpathian region that the Moldovans can visit both in summer and in winter,” said the adviser.

The representative of a travel agency from Odessa region Yana Galitskaya said the company already prepared two-, three -and seven-day trips to Odessa. “We came to present our offers for the warm season, which promises to be hot as we already started to receive applications for some of the offers,” she stated, adding that they also present costumed tours that involve actors.

Director of the Sanatorium Development Agency of Truscovets Nazarii Pisori said the health spas of Truscovets offer both recreational and treatment services. “We take part in this exhibition for the first time. For us, the Moldovan market is very important because many Moldovans come to us for treatment. Among the foreign tourists, the Moldovans rank third after those from Azerbaijan and Belarus,” he stated.

The 21st exhibition “Tourism. Leisure. Hotels” is held at the International Exhibitions Center “Moldexpo” between April 7 and 10. It brought together 130 travel agencies from Moldova, Bulgaria, Hungarian, Vietnam, Israel, Romania, Slovakia, Ukraine, and Turkey.
