Ukraine bans the crossing of its state borders, including the transit of its territory, for foreigners and stateless persons as of March 16, 1am, Kiev’s time, IPN reports.
With reference to the Ukrainian authorities’ official decision to temporary ban persons from entering Ukraine, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Intention of Moldova said this was taken in a move to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
The restriction does not apply to foreigners and stateless persons who work for foreign diplomatic missions, consular offices and representative offices of international organizations based in Ukraine and to members of their families. The persons with permanent or temporary stay permits for Ukraine will also not be banned from entering the country.
