A girl aged two from Dondușeni district was hospitalized after she fell from the second floor of an apartment building on June 17.
Contacted by IPN for details, Eugenia Molchanov, press officer of the Dondușeni Police Inspectorate, said the parents related that the girl was in the kitchen together with them. She mounted the windowsill and, leaning against the mosquito net, fell out. She was taken to the Dondușeni District Hospital and later to the Balti Municipal Clinical Hospital.
Acceding to Eugenia Molchanov, the family is given positive characteristics and has never been under police supervision.
Anatol Bernic, head of the Surgery Section of the Balti Municipal Clinical Hospital, has told IPN that the girl suffered a closed head injury, a concussion and abdominal trauma. Her state of health is stable and she was transferred from the Intensive Care Section to the Surgery Section.
