A two-year-old child fell into the shaft of the elevator of a residential building in the municipality of Ungheni. He is in an extremely serious condition and is to be transferred by Aviasan to Chisinau from the Ungheni District Hospital, where he was taken after the incident.
Contacted by IPN for details, the deputy medical director of the Ungheni District Hospital Elvira Stati said that the child’s condition is extremely serious, but stable. He was admitted to the Intensive Care Unit.
“We got in touch with the Specialized Transfer Center and the team is set to transfer the child to Chisinau,” stated Elvira Stati.
