Two women injured in traffic accidents on Monday

Two women were injured in two road accidents occurred in Chisinau on Monday at the same hour, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Chisinau Road Police Inspector Ion Roscovanu, both accidents occurred at 18.25, one in Botanica district, and the other one in Ciocana district. Near the Jumbo Mall located on Decebal Boulevard, a Hyundai car hit a young woman aged 20 who was crossing the street. She suffered mental shock and several bruises. At the exactly same time, a woman aged 55 was hit by a Mercedes-208 van on Voluntarilor Street. The victim was transported to the Emergency Hospital having a rib broken. 24 road accidents were registered in Chisinau on Monday. Police officers made 392 official reports. Of them, 7 drivers were fined for driving while intoxicated, 31 for speeding and 72 for crossing at the red light.
