Two cars caught fire after they collided near Peresecina village of Orhei district on October 2. A man aged 22 from Chisinau municipality died.
Press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service Diana Turcan has told IPN that the young man who died was the driver of one of the units of transport involved in the accident. He perished as a result of the received injuries, not in the fire.
The other driver aged 27 from Seseni village of Calarasi district didn’t suffer serious injuries.
An investigation is under way.
