Starting with January 1, 2022, the National House of Social Insurance will reexamine the old-age pensions of persons who obtained this benefit after January 1, 1999 and worked for five to seven years more after retirement. Also, there will be reevaluated the disability pensions set before January 1, 1999 for persons who worked for two and more years after retirement, IPN reports.

The House said the new pensions will start to be provided the month coming after the month the application and the required documents were submitted to the social insurance body. The size of the pension rise after reexamination depends on the length of service and the amount of insured income.

The application to have the old-age pension reexamined and the application to have the disability pension reexamined are filed electronically through www.cnas.gov.md or to the local house of social insurance at the applicant’s domicile.

The recipients are urged to submit the application to reexamine the pension online by accessing the banner “e-Application for Pension Reexamination” or to make online an appointment with the local house of social insurance, according to the domicile, through the service “Online Appointment Scheduling CTAS” on ww.cnas.gov.md.

The file will be examined within 60 days of the submission of the application, if all the necessary documents are made available.
