Festivities dedicated to Moldova’s Independence Day this year will last three days, Aug. 26-28, with music concerts in the Great National Assembly Square featuring both national and international stars. Sweden’s Loreen, two-time Eurovision winner in 2013 and 2023, and the Ukrainian legendary rock band Okean Elzy will be among the headliners.
On August 26, the public will be treated to an electronic music concert with a lineup that includes Magic Flowers, GOLAN, Subcarpatii and Andrew Rayel.
On Independence Day, August 27, the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra will perform, presenting collaborations with both Moldovan and international stars, including Loreen. Other acts will be announced soon, according to a press release from the Government.
The Moldovan alternative rock band Alternosfera, the Romanian pop-rock band Vama and the Ukrainian famous band Okean Elzy will perform on August 28.
The concerts will start at the exact same time each day, 7:00 PM.
