The second exam of the Baccalaureate session 2017 ended with the elimination of two candidates, as the first exam. The students were caught cheating, IPN reports.

In a press briefing, the director of the National Agency for Curriculum and Assessment Anatol Topala said the two students will not be allowed to take the other exams. These will be able to sit the Baccalaureate exams next year already. The exam went smooth, without major incidents, in accordance with the procedures.

Today’s exam in the language of study was taken by over 16,000 students. Almost 14,000 students sat the exam in the Romanian language and literature, while almost 3,000 – in the Russian language and literature.

The June 10 exam, in the foreign language, will involve about 18,000 candidates. Of these, 461 possess certificates showing proficiency in foreign languages and will not have to take the exam. They will get the grade ‘10’ automatically.
