The initiative group supporting the presidential bid of the former anti-corruption prosecutor Victoria Furtună and the group endorsing historian Octavian Țîcu, of the Together Bloc, submitted their respective lists with signatures to the Central Electoral Commission.
The CEC now has 7 days to verify the submissions.
Also today, the CEC received the application for registration of the Alliance for the Union of Romanians as a campaigner at constitutional referendum, supporting the “yes” option.
To date, the CEC has registered four presidential candidates and 10 referendum campaigners.
