Two persons killed in different road accidents on the same spot

Two persons died in road accidents produced at a 16 hour difference from each other on the same spot on the roadway Chisinau-Vadul lui Voda. The inspector of the Traffic Safety, Administrative Supervision and PR Service, Ion Roscovanu, reported that the first accident happened on Sunday, at 4:00, near Budesti village. A Citroen car, driven by an inhabitant of the capital, aged 26, run into a pedestrian, 55, and killed him. At 18:00, almost on the same spot, a car VAZ-2108, driven by the inhabitant of Dubasari town, hit a bicyclist to death, aged 68, inhabitant of Budesti village. On Sunday, traffic agents have registered 8 accidents resulting with 2 fatalities, and made 236 reports, including in 22 cases of drunken driving and 50 – excessive speed.
