Two parties and an electoral bloc enter the legislative body according to the preliminary results of the After Poll. The PAS comes first with 55.1% of the vote, while the BeCS follows with 24%. The Shor Party is shown to poll 8.1% of the vote. The next positions outside the election thresholds are taken by BERU with 4.4% of the vote and PPPDA with 1.8%. The survey was presented by “Watchdog.Md” Community and the Institute for Public Policy in a news conference at IPN.

WatchDog.MD head Valeriu Pașa said that when asked “When did you decide who to vote for?”, 34.9% of those surveyed said they always voted for this party, 33.6% said that over three months ago, while 8.3% said two-three months ago.

Vasile Cantarji, sociologist of SBS-AXA Center of Sociological Investigations, said the survey was conducted by phone among respondents with the right to vote who were on Moldova’s territory on election day. The poll covered a sample of 2,764 persons who were contacted by phone between 12 noon and 8pm.

The election threshold for a party is 5%, for an electoral bloc is 7%, while for an independent candidate is 2%.
