Moldova’s Ambassador to Austria Valeriu Chiveri was recalled from Vienna to Chisinau in order to take up the post of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs in which he was named recently. Moldova’s Consul General in Germany Dumitru Socolan is returning to Chisinau because his tenure expired. In the July 3 meeting of the Government, two deputy ministers of education were re-confirmed in their posts, IPN reports.
Valeriu Chiveri held several positions concomitantly – of Ambassador to Austria, Permanent Representative of Moldova to the OSCE, Moldova’s Representative to the UN Office in Vienna, and of Ambassador to Slovakia. The draft recalling decrees were submitted to the head of state.
At the suggestion of Minister of Education Maia Sandu, deputy ministers Loretta Handrabura and Igor Grosu were re-confirmed in their posts.
