Two men aged 60 and 66 died from carbon monoxide poisoning in their homes in Leova town and the municipality of Chisinau, Info-Prim Neo reports. Diana Turcanu, press officer of the Civil Protection and Emergencies Service, said that in Leova the bedclothes caught fire from a smoldering cigarette. The circumstances of the second case have not been yet established. The man was found in the house with his clothes burned. Fifteen fires happened in Moldova yesterday and last night. Twenty-five persons have been killed in fires so far this year. Two of the victims were children.
