Three companies from Moldova, two egg factories and one poultry meat factory, have obtained the right to export to the European Union market as a result of aligning our legislation with the requirements of the EU, announced Minister of Agriculture, Vladimir Bolea, according to IPN.

The Ministry continues to work on aligning legislation with European requirements so that more producers can access the EU market," Vladimir Bolea stated in a video message.

The minister assured that the factories selected, based on all eligibility criteria, to export to the EU have the highest quality products, also for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova.

The first producer to receive the right to export eggs to the EU is the Moldovan-Dutch company PB-NORD. The company’s poultry farm is located on a 10.27-hectare site in the Edineț district, Bleşteni commune. The second company is Rom-Cris SRL from Târnova, Dondușeni district, which holds a 4.7% market share in the Republic of Moldova.

At the same time, according to Vladimir Bolea, in the last two weeks, Moldova has sent four refrigerated meat shipments, which are in high demand on the European Union market.
