Two drivers and three minibus passengers seriously hurt in road accident

Five persons have been seriously injured this morning in a traffic accident that involved a minibus, Paulina Yakimovski, senior PR specialist of the Traffic Police Division, has told Info-Prim Neo. The accident happened at about 3am not far from Bratuseni village of Edinet district. The minibus running on the Lipcani-Chisinau route was heading for the capital city when it crashed violently into a MTZ tractor parked by the roadside. The tractor did not have reflectors. The driver of the minibus aged 37 sustained a severe cranial-cerebral trauma, a thoracic trauma and forehead wound. A 62-year-old passenger of the minibus received leg injuries, while his wife aged 64 suffered a cranial-cerebral trauma, a concussion and lip wound. Another passenger of the minibus, a 16-year-old girl, sustained a cranial-cerebral trauma, a concussion and injury in the lumbar region. The tractor driver was also hurt. He was hospitalized with a cranial-cerebral trauma, a concussion and head wound.
