Constantin Botnari of the Democratic Party left the seat of MP, invoking personal reasons. In the December 5 meeting of Parliament, Democratic MP Alexandru Botnari, who was elected mayor of Hâncești municipality, also announced his decision to leave, IPN reports.
Constantin Botnari entered Parliament on the Democratic ticket. His place will be occupied be a substitute candidate. The next on the list is Radu Rebeja, former secretary of state at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
Alexandru Botnari was elected MP in single-member constituency No. 38 that covered Hâncești municipality, where new parliamentary elections are to be held.
