Two men died smoke intoxicated over the last 24 hours, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to the Department of Exceptional Situations, the causes of fire breakouts which killed the two persons are defective stoves and smoking in bed. The first case occurred at 1.00, in the house of an old man from Selemet village, Cimislia, in which a fire broke out, provoked by a cleft in the stove. When extinguishing the fire, the owner of the house, aging 74, was found dead.
This night the fire covered a house in the Samascan village, Soldanesti. The fire was caused by a cigarette lit by the owner, aged 50.
Two cars have been destroyed in a fire on Tuesday in a car repair shop, situated on Cucorilor str of the capital. Two special vehicles intervened in order to extinguish the fire, which also damaged a part of the workshop.
Two families lost their homes, at the threshold of winter after their houses had burned down because of unknown reasons. These tragedies occured in Ciutulesti village, Floresti, and Chirca village, Anenii-Noi.
In 2190 fires registered in the R. of Moldova since the beginning of the year 194 persons died, including 23 children.
