Turnout in Soldanesti district the highest at 9.00

The nationwide turnout of voters at 9.00 was 6.24%, i. e. 113 249 electors of the total 1 811 009 written in the electoral registers. The most active voters were in Soldanesti district, where the turnout was 11.15%. The lowest turnout at 9.00 was recorded in Cantemir – 4.23% of the persons eligible to vote, Info-Prim Neo reports. Iurie Ciocan, president of the Central Election Commission, said that the turnout in the second round of voting is higher compared with June 5. The turnout in the first round was 5.68% at 9.00.
