The Liberal Democratic Party’s candidate for President Tudor Deliu cast his ballot. He said he voted for the removal of the Republic of Moldova from isolation and for a President who would guarantee the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports.
The candidate said he also voted for a Prescient who would represent the Moldovans in the country and abroad. “I voted for the citizens of the Republic of Moldova to enjoy a President who speaks in their name,” stated Tudor Deliu.
The Moldovans who are eligible to vote are expected to vote in the presidential elections today. Polls are open between 7am and 9pm. Eight candidates are running for the presidency.
