Trolleybus producing and assembling enterprise to be opened in Chisinau

A joint producing and assembling enterprise will be opened in Chisinau. Vasile Tarlev announced this news on Thursday, April 13 at a meeting with responsible decision-taking authorities. Supplying the stocks from Chisnau and Balti with sufficient trolleybuses and developing the electric transport area in Moldova is a vital necessity that has to be solved fast and efficiently, mentioned the prime-minister. Vasile Tarlev emphasised the fact that opening such an enterprise will create new work places. The contest will be organized by the Ministry of Industry and Infrastructure. According to the public authorities from Chisinau, at present in Chisinau nearly 270 trolleybuses are running, but the sufficient number are 350 transport units of this type.
