The price of a ticket for a trip by the Odessa-Chisinau train as of October 1 will be by 13% lower and will be 225 lei, following an agreement reached by the state-run Moldova’s Railways and the Ukrainian Railways, IPM reports.
According to Moldova’s Railways, the Ukrainian train Odessa-Chisinau runs daily. It sets off from Chisinau at 7:09am and arrives in Odessa at 10:55am. When back, the train leaves Odessa at 6:38pm and gets to Chisinau at 10:33pm.
Currently, the modernized diesel train of Moldova’s Railways, which ran on the Chisinau-Odessa route earlier, is undergoing repairs. The given route is to be restored by the end of this year.
