Travel advisory for Lebanon and Middle East

In connection with the escalation of the security situation in the Middle East, especially in Lebanon and Israel, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs warns the Moldovan citizens who are, transit or intend to travel to Lebanon about the existence of security risks to the integrity of citizens. The institution recommends avoiding any travel to the area, IPN reports.

The Ministry urges the compatriots to carefully follow the official news and information provided by the authorities, including the MFA and the diplomatic mission in Tel Aviv. These sources can provide updates on the situation in the area and any additional safety measures.

“The Ministry encourages the citizens to be responsible and cautious, to prioritize personal safety, to comply with the instructions and rules imposed by the authorities and to avoid voluntarily exposing themselves to unjustified risks. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends the citizens to maintain contact with the embassy in Israel,” said Tatiana Barac, press officer of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
