Traffic to be restricted on six streets in Chisinau

In connection with the visit of US Vice President Joseph Biden to Chisinau tomorrow, six major streets – Stefan cel Mare, Dacia, Viaduct, Ciuflea, Arborilor and Bucuresti – will be closed to vehicle traffic, the City Hall said in a press release. The City Hall also said that the municipal services cleaned up the territory and repaired the roads along the route of the official delegation, specifying that the work was done as part of regular spring clean-up efforts, so it didn't require additional expenses. US Vice President Joseph Biden will come to Chisinau for a one-day visit, during which he will meet with Speaker Marian Lupu, Prime Minister Vlad Filat and other officials, and will deliver a public speech at the Opera Square.
