The summer touristic season will open on April 2, when the will be taken the first chart to Turkey, Antalia, declared for the press Nicolae Platon, the general director of the National Training Center for Tourism Industry Personnel. According to him, in this period the touristic firms are staking on the outgoing tourism, although a revival is waited also on the intern segment and on the receptor segment (of tourist accommodation). Nicolae Platon said the main external directions for this summer will be Romania, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Turkey and Tunisia. Regarding the receptor tourism, operators from the Republic of Moldova elaborated a series of programs that could contribute to the development of this market area, but also of the intern tourism, because in the last year the number of foreign tourist decreased with 8%. On the other hand, the intern tourism shows a index growth. “There already are some tendencies that present the citizens of the Republic of Moldova will visit important tourist places. They will visit monasteries that in the last period opened their gates for local and foreign tourists. The most visited places are Orheiul Vechi with five agro tourist pensions and supplementary we can observe a tendency of rural tourism development. New agro tourist pensions are being opened – for example, Hangan Pension from Tapova village (Rezina), that is ready to house the first tourists”, mentioned Nicolae Platon. He states that once of the tourist pension’s network is developing it is not excluded that the prices will diminish.” If the concurrence is higher, the smaller is the price on the market. In this way Moldavian tourist offers could become very competitive on the international tourist market” says the general director of the National Training Center for Tourism Industry Personnel. Nicolae Platon mentioned that the local hotels already make deals with the tourist agencies and offer prices with a discount of 30%. Moldavian hotels of three stars offer prices from 22-27 USD for one person in a double room with included breakfast and the administrators of the four stars hotels offer prices of 80 euros for one day for a room comparing to the present 120 and 160 euros at present. For the first time ever this year was performed the division of the Republic of Moldova into tourist zones and were identified 15 tourist directions. On the base of these directions will be effectuated excursions for the local and foreign tourists. For example, the direction of the monasteries from Calarasi includes the monasteries Hrjauca, Harbovat, Raciula and Frumoasa. There is a direction that was combined, two monasteries can be visited – Hancu and Capriana. Specialized destinations have been created, inclusively rural tourism (agro tourist pensions), wine tourism (pensions and wine cellars) and religious tourism (monasteries). Supplementary, the Vadul lui Voda rest zone is intensively turned to good account. In this zone tourist camps that correspond to international standards can be found. This year will be insistently promoted the Wine Festival and as a consequence the experts from the market expect an increase of the tourists that will visit Moldova. According to the calculations, a foreign tourist spends in medium 90 USD a day.
