Today, June 11, is the last day that the candidates for member of Moldova’s Parliament can file applications to the Central Election Commission for being registered as contenders in the July 11 snap parliamentary elections. The documents for registration can be submitted by 4pm, IPN reports.
If two or more candidates apply to be registered today, the CEC at 5pm will hold a draw to decide the preliminary order of the potential candidates on the ballot.
Seventeen election contestants have been registered by the CEC so far. The files of two more candidates are under examination.
