The Tiraspol Municipal Council has passed a plan of anti-crisis measures, which envisions reducing the price of the entrepreneur’s patent, freezing the tariffs of public utilities, decreasing the fees for kindergarten and engaging persons out of job in paid public works, Info-Prim Neo’s correspondent in Tiraspol reports.
Svetlana Fadeeva, the first vice president of the Council, said that more than 90 persons who lost their jobs were hired to tidy up the cemeteries in the town.
“All the social programs are implemented in accordance with the approved plan. There are no salary and pension arrears,” the Transnistrian official said.
The price of the entrepreneur’s patent was decreased by 5 conventional units.
The companies that bought municipal property and cannot make payments into the budget are allowed to pay one to three months later. The Tiraspol Municipal Council also decided to provide subsidies to farmers and approved a lending program for young families, Svetlana Fadeeva said.
