Students aged between 12 and 19 years old from Chisinau municipality have the opportunity to participate in the fourth edition of the short film contest entitled “Through Art in Europe”. The event aims to promote European values and raise awareness of the benefits of European integration, IPN reports.
The General Division of Education, Youth and Sport said the participants will form initiative groups, learn about European values and apply this knowledge to make artistic or documentary short films.
The grand prize awarded in the contest is 8,000 lei. The “Public Sympathy” award is 7,000 lei. For the third place, the participants will get 5,000 lei, for the second place – 6,000 lei, while the holder of the first place will receive 7,000 lei. Also, honorable mentions of 4,000 lei will be awarded.
The best video productions will be awarded at the Laureates’ Gala, and the films will be disseminated on the online platform of the Public Association “ATU”.
To register, the participants must fill out an online form by September 21.
