A girl aged three years and a half fell from the third floor of an apartment building situated in Chisinau’s Buiucani district, IPN reports.
According to the Emergency Medicine Center, the child went on the balcony to play. At a certain moment, the parents, who remained in the room, heard some noise. They went to see what happened and saw the girl lying on the ground.
The doctors established that the girl suffered a trauma associated with right rib fractures, contusion of internal organs with a possible rupture of the liver and spleen, internal hemorrhage and a traumatic shock.
The child was transported to the Municipal Clinical Hospital “Valentin Ignatenko” for additional examinations and medical-surgical treatment.
