A girl aged three drowned in a cesspit in Bulăiești village of Orhei district on September 19.
Diana Maxim, press officer of the Orhei Police Inspectorate, has told IPN that the girl’s mother went to see a doctor and the child was at home together with her grandmother. While she was playing in the yard, she stepped onto the cesspit that was covered only with polyethylene and drowned.
An investigation was opened to establish all the circumstances of this case.
