Minister of Education Anatolie Topală, Minister of the Interior Ala Revenco, and Minister of Infrastructure Lilia Dabija handed in their resignations. The announcement was made by Prime Minister Dorin Recean in a press briefing, IPN reports.

According to the Premier, the university reform that was fully designed and implemented by Anatolie Topală started to produce results. The reform was a complex process and the minister ensured all the resources and framework needed for this reform to be successful.

As to Ana Revenco, Dorin Recean said that she made a considerable contribution when she took over amid the refugee crisis and managed very difficult situations. She laid the basis of the necessary transformation at the Ministry of the Interior and made sure that the Ministry will have the resources needed for a qualitative leap in terms of the public service and integration of all the Ministry’s subunits.

As regards Lilia Dabija, Premier Recean said that she ensured the building of over 300 km of roads. This effort was very important for everyone, in particular for the citizens and the business community. By complex and very efficient negotiations, Lilia Dabija ensured that Moldova is part of the Connecting Europe Facility.

Dorin Recean noted that he will present the list of candidates for the three posts to President Maia Sandu next Monday.

Anatolie Topală had served as Minister of Education and Research since August 2021, being named during the Gavriliță Cabinet, as was Minister of the Interior Ana Revenco. Lilia Dabija took over as Minister of Infrastructure and Regional Development instead of Andrei Spînu, who vacated the post in February 2023.
