A district court sentenced three teenage boys, ages ranging 15-17, to ten years in prison for beating a man to death last autumn. An adult man, 45, was also sentenced to 17 years for his role in the homicide.
The Prosecutor General’s Office recalled in a press release that the homicide tool place in November in the village of Onești, Hâncești district. The man was attacked in his home following a brawl with the son of his domestic partner and the boy’s friends.
The reason for the fight, it appears, was that the man had insulted his domestic partner. When everything was over, the attackers took incriminating selfies with the body.
The suspects were arrested shortly after the crime and were remanded until the verdict, which is appealable.
