Third National Theaters Festival to be held in Chisinau

The third Festival of National Theaters of Moldova titled “Our Language is a Treasure” will take place in Chisinau on August 26, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the Interethnic Relations Office. The event is dedicated to the Our Language Day and aims to promote the languages of the ethnic communities living in Moldova. The festival will bring together the National Theater “Luceafarul”, the Bessarabian Theater “Smeten Petic”, the Roma Theater “Enigma Romilor”, Sergo Bengheldorfs’ musical studio of the Jewish Cultural Center “Kedem”, the State Dramatic Theater for Youth “Din Strada Trandafirilor” and other artistic groups. The festival will be hosted by the National Philharmonic Orchestra “S. Lunchevici”. It will start at 17.00. The first National Theaters Festival was held in 2005.
