Despite the lack of meetings between President Maia Sandu and the self-proclaimed Transnistrian leader Vadim Krasnoselsky, particular problems and issues between the two banks are being resolved, former deputy prime minister for reintegration Alexandru Flenchea stated in the program "Freedom Territory" on RLIVE channel, IPN reports.

After the recent presidential election was won by Maia Sandu, the de facto leader of the Transnistrian region Vadim Krasnoselsky proposed a meeting again.

The former deputy prime minister for reintegration noted that in the last two years, since the war in Ukraine began, KrasnoselskY proposed holding such a meeting for three times.

"In Tiraspol, there is boredom and acute lack of attention. However, it must be understood that current problems are discussed and, to a certain extent, are even resolved. On January 1, 2025, we will witness one of these decisions on gas. So, there is no point in having such meetings. There are specific tasks to be solved. This type of meeting can only take place to declare a fait accompli," said Alexandru Flenchea.
