The march that was announced by the ACUM bloc and PSRM that was supposed to take place on Sunday in front of the parliament building, will no longer take place. After the cabinet meeting on Saturday, June 15, prime minister Maia Sandu said that the march will definitely take place, but later, IPN reports.

"Please, stay at home tomorrow and celebrate with family and friends. We know you really wanted to come to Chisinau to celebrate the fall of the dictatorship, and to we will do this, but later, "said Maia Sandu at a press conference.

The politician said that police have worked hard these days, in rather poor conditions, and this event would burden their shoulders a great deal. "Tomorrow we rest and rejoice, and on Monday we begin the hard work to cleanse the system and rebuild the institutions, so that the life of every citizen becomes better," said Maia Sandu.

The Minister of Internal Affairs attending the conference, deputy prime minister Andrei Nastase, said that, given that the political configuration changed very much, he would like to ensure that "we will not fall victim to terrible entrapment". According to him, "at the level of statement, the illegitimate Filip government gave up its control of the institutions of force,". "Currently we the effective takeover of power is taking place, a process that will take some time," says Andrei Nastase.

According to him, the Sunday’s march for democracy was supposed to take place, but organizational requirements necessary for this demonstration would have been a burden to the police.

Asked by journalists about the private jets that took off in evening of June 14th from the International Airport Chisinau, Andrei Nastase said that one of them transported MP Ilan Sor’s family, not him. Another is presumed to have transported two people from Ilan Sor’s entourage.
