The Government executed the decision of European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in the Sarban vs. Moldova case, in which Moldova was condemned for the violation of several articles of The European Convention of Human Rights, stated Vladimir Sarban, secretary of the municipality council for Info-Prim Neo. Sarban stated that he received 4000 euros at the beginning of March, taking notice about the money transfer not from the Moldovan ECHR delegate, as the legislation requires, but from other sources. Vladimir Sarban was arrested in November 2004 before the parliamentary election campaign. Sarban is accused of exceeding his attributions on the case of 40 ambulance acquisition, in the frameworks of similar accusations brought to ex-Mayor of the capital Serafim Urcheanu. At present Sarban is set free on parole. He pleads not guilty, insisting on the political scenario of his case and he speaks out his firm position to address again to ECHR.
