A joint team of cinema-men, part of them from Basarabia, another from Romania, intended to produce a fiction short film, which proved to become a medium-reel movie, and which will be presented in November at the DaKino Festival, according to the ”Gardianul” newspaper, cited by Info-Prim Neo. The film will be named „Pam para-ram“ and is written and directed by the Basarabian director Petru Hadarca, well-known in Romania for several of his settings on the stages of the national theaters from Craiova, Botosani and others, but even much more renowned in Moldova for his dissidence of about three years ago. In 2003 he was the head of the National State Theatre from Chisinau and protested against the non-recognition of the Romanian character of the institution. He was immediately dismissed and became persona non grata in the institutions of Chisinau and today has lawsuit against the Moldovan state at the European Court of Human Rights from Strasbourg. „To be a Romanian in Chisinau and to be one in Bucharest are two opposing notions” asserts the director. On the other hand the film is a premiere for Sahia Film which produces for the first time a fiction movie. Anyway the last documentary produced by Sahia is at least 5 years old. What is fascinating about the project relates to the “kitchen” of the film because it was made on a reduced budget, that’s why the equipment was mainly provided by friends. According to the director, the tale is a comical tragedy, resembling to the specific humor of Georgians and Moldovans. The producing team is also composed of Veaceslav Cebotari - image director, Valentin Todercan – executive producer, starring Nicodim Ungureanu, Dorin Andone, Dragos Stanescu, Ion Albu, Valeriu Pahomi, Manuela Golescu or Melania Gheorghita. The filming took six days and now the montage is made.
