SA Termoelectrica asked to adjust the price of electricity and the charges for the heat supplied to consumers in 2023. The supplier made a replant approach back on December 22 and two days ago this was published on the website of the National Agency for Energy Regulation, IPN reports.
In its approach, Termoelectrica asks to increase the electricity rate from 4.54 lei/kWh to 5.51 lei/kWH and the heat charge to 3,636 lei per gigacalorie, up from the current charge of 2,854 lei/Gcal that has been applied since October 1 last year.
The company argued the rates should be adjusted so as to ensure the sustainability and reliability of the company against the substantial changes in the prices of primary energy resources.
