Termoelectrica initiated the process of modernizing heap pipe sections in Ciorescu commune of Chisinau municipality, which benefits from centralized heating from the local suburban heating plant, IPN reports.
In a press release, the heat supplier says the impact of works will be felt by about 25% of the consumers in the commune, namely five public institutions, seven apartment buildings and 19 private houses.
The modernization works include the replacement of about 1 km of heat pipes of a different diameter – 100, 50 and 40 mm – and the relocation and reconstruction of sections of used heat pipes. The rehabilitation works were launched at the end of June and are to be completed in mid-August. They created no inconveniences to consumers in the region.
Termoelectrica SA director general Veaceslav Eni said their company focuses on the consumers and is preoccupied with the improvement of the provided heating services, for each dwelling apart.
