Heating and hot water services are paid this year by the consumers at the level of 78.7% compared to 65.1% in the same period of last year. Sales director of “Termocom” JSC Mihai Arusoi stated on Monday, January 22, during a sitting at the City Hall, that the enterprise has a list of 168 blocks in debt, but for the time being they are allowed to use the services due to the consensus reached with the managers.
Arusoi mentioned that, though these blocks were expected to be disconnected, the district offices in concert with the dwelling fund took actions intended to reduce debts, the number of debtors going down as a result.
The current debts of the state budget to “Termocom” are of about 1.7 mln lei, debts of the local budget – over 3 mln lei, while those of the economic entities of more than 415 mln lei. The population must pay to the heat supplier 303 mln lei, of which 166 mln lei are debts of the municipal enterprises managing the dwelling fund, 42 mln lei of the housing equity partnerships, 88 mln lei – of the owners’ associations, 5.5 mln lei – of the departmental blocks, and 301,000 lei – of the private sector.
99% of the block consumers, meaning 1642 dwelling blocks are supplied with hot water at present.
The average temperature in the heating network is 65 degrees. Arusoi said that the outgoing temperature can not be diminished below 65 degrees when the weather goes milder, because it could lead to claims regarding the temperature of the hot water, which should not be lower than 50% degrees. Additionally, Mihai Arusoi said that claims should not appear, as the persons in charge for the blocks’ meter were allowed to adjust during the daytime the temperature, especially when the air temperature exceeds 10 C°.
