About 43% of the employees of Radio Moldova and only 16% of the employees of the national TV channel Moldova 1 fully know the regulations concerning the implementation of the new salary system.
In a sociological micro-research carried out by experts of the Electronic Press Association (APEL), there were questioned 14 heads of radio subdivisions and 31 heads of TV subdivisions and other employees.
In a news conference at IPN, APEL project director Vasile State said the employees who know slightly or not at all the given regulations total 20% at the radio and 29% at the TV channel.
43% of those questioned at Radio Moldova and 47% of those polled at Moldova 1 consider that the new salary system is implemented defectively.
Asked to what extent they support the new pay system worked out by the new administration and approved by the Supervisory Board, 57% of the respondents from Radio Moldova said they are for and against it simultaneously, while 39% of those interviewed at TV Moldova 1 said they rather support it than not.
67% of the respondents from Moldova 1 and 14% from Radio Moldova are for restoring the old salary system.
The new salary system at Teleradio-Moldova ensures the switchover from pay grades based on honorariums, provided depending on the quantity of work, to a system based on bonuses for performance.
