A teenage boy was close to drowning in the lake of “Valea Morilor” Park in Chisinau. According to preliminary information, the boy went for a walk on Christmas, but slipped and fell into the water. It happened at about 3pm on December 25, IPN reports.
Employees of Rescue Station No. 11 noticed him and took him out of the water. The General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations said medical care wasn’t necessary as the 14-year-old boy didn’t suffer any traumas.
Also, a case of carbon monoxide positioning was reported on December 25. A boy aged 12 got poisoned by fumes produced by a stove. An ambulance team was called out and the minor was taken to the district hospital for medical care. His condition is stable. No other circumstances are known for now.
