An adolescent boy aged 16 from Căușeni district was beaten to death by two young men. When they saw that the boy wasn’t breathing, the two threw the body into a precipice. Contacted by IPN for details, press officer of the General Police Inspectorate Mariana Bețivu said the boy’s mother called the police on November 3 and said that her son left home on November 2 and didn’t return.
The police established that the teenager and two more men from the same village, aged 21 and 32, went to the sheepfold of Cârnățenii Noi, where the 32-year-old man worked as a shepherd.
The three drank alcoholic beverages together and then started a quarrel that degenerated. The minor boy was kicked and punched and hit with a cudgel.
The medical examiner is to find out the exact cause of death. The suspects were arrested.
